I want you to feel comfortable in front of my camera, confident in the process, and genuinely cared for from the moment we begin working together through the delivery of your final gallery.
On your wedding day, I’m there to document the moments you’ve been waiting for, the details you’ve thoughtfully chosen, and the little things you may not even realize are happening. The goal is a collection of photographs that feels like you, while still carrying the perspective and intention behind my work.

Hi, I'm payton
I graduated from Louisiana State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography. My time there gave me a strong foundation in both the technical and creative sides of photography, and after graduating, I turned that passion into the business I have today.
I’m always working to grow, refine my craft, and create work that feels thoughtful and lasting. Photography has given me the opportunity to combine the things I love most: creating beautiful images, connecting with people, and preserving moments that matter.
When I’m not photographing or editing, you can find me out and about in my hometown of downtown Covington, grabbing an iced vanilla latte, enjoying Mexican food, or working on a little craft project at home.
MY WHY
Capturing your wedding experience, learning what matters most to you as a couple, and watching all of your hard work, decisions, and details come together is incredibly meaningful to me.
On wedding days, it really hits me. I’ll be standing there, looking around, and think, how lucky am I? To be here with incredible people, witnessing an amazing vision come to life, and getting to preserve moments that mean so much.
I see a dad barely holding himself together just before you step out to see him in your dress. I watch a mom wipe away tears during your first dance with your new partner. I listen to a sister give a speech about the life she has watched you build, and find myself getting a little watery-eyed as I hold back the lump in my throat.
I chose this work because I love art. I love to create. I always wanted my work to have meaning, and photography has given me a way to do both. To preserve these moments, to bear witness to human experience, to see so much effort, joy, and intention come together, and to have the opportunity to capture it all — that is what gives this work meaning to me, and it is why I do this.

That might mean choosing a location beyond the usual options, planning your session around the best light, or helping you think through the little details that will make your images feel more like you. You don’t have to arrive knowing exactly what to do. That’s where I come in.
I’m naturally organized and detail-oriented, and I care about creating an experience that feels thoughtful from beginning to end. On your wedding day, you can expect calm direction when you need it, a clear plan, and someone who knows when to step in and when to let the moment happen naturally.

CUSTOMIZATION
Each collection is thoughtfully designed around the way I typically photograph a wedding, but I understand that every celebration is different.
Custom proposals are available when your wedding day calls for a different combination of coverage and offerings.
travel expenses
If your session or wedding location is more than 60 miles from
downtown Covington, LA, travel fees will apply as follows:
60+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way)
120+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way) + 1-night hotel stay
180+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way) + 1 or 2-night hotel stay
240+ miles — Costs for flights, lodging, transportation
(like taxis or rental cars), and any other travel-related expenses
venue fees
If your chosen location requires a photography fee or permit, that cost will be covered by the client.
Frequently asked questions
When will we receive our gallery?
For engagement and bridal sessions, galleries are delivered within 3 weeks. For weddings, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery before your full edited gallery is delivered within 10 weeks.
How many pictures will we get back?
Since every wedding is different, the number of final images will vary based on your coverage, timeline, and the flow of the day. Rather than promising a set number, I focus on creating a gallery that feels complete and thoughtfully curated, with all of the moments, people, and details that matter most to your day.
What does the photo album entail?
The wedding album is a tangible way to preserve your day beyond the digital gallery. Your 10x10 album can be personalized with a selection of must-have images, your choice of linen cover color, and custom embossing on the cover.
Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll curate the remaining images, design the album, and finalize the details before sending it your way.
What is the framed heirloom portrait?
The framed heirloom portrait is a beautiful way to bring one of your favorite photographs into your home and enjoy it long after the wedding day.
I offer it with bridal portraits in mind, but if a bridal session isn't part of your plans, you can choose a favorite engagement or wedding-day portrait of the two of you instead.
The idea is simple: a meaningful photograph, beautifully framed, that becomes part of your home long after the wedding day.
