Congratulations on your upcoming proposal! I’m honored you’re considering me to document such a meaningful moment. I have had the honor of photographing many proposals and understand how important it is that the moment unfolds naturally. With thoughtful guidance and a calm approach, I help create space for genuine emotion and beautiful imagery.
THE APPROACH
I've found there are two great ways to approach a proposal, and either one can work beautifully.
It all comes down to what feels most authentic to you and your partner!
OPTION 1
You’ll let your partner know you’ve planned a couples session. I’ll meet you both at the location, introduce myself as if it’s our first time meeting, and guide you through the session as I normally would. As the session unfolds, it turns into a surprise proposal! Ahead of time, we’ll coordinate a keyword, moment, or pose so you know exactly when it’s time to pop the question.
OPTION 2
You and I will choose the exact spot and time for your proposal ahead of the session. I’ll arrive early and stay out of sight while you and your partner go about your plans as usual. When you reach the agreed-upon moment and get on one knee, I’ll move in closer to capture every expression and detail, documenting the moment as it unfolds.
After the big moment, I love to give you two a minute to soak it all in. This makes for great candid moments which I can photograph. Then, when you're ready, we can get a handful of posed photos of you two together.

ADDITIONAL INVESTMENTS
TRAVEL FEES
If your session location is more than 60 miles from
downtown Covington, LA, travel fees will apply as follows:
60+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way)
120+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way) + 1-night hotel stay
180+ miles — $1 per additional mile (each way) + 1 or 2-night hotel stay
240+ miles — Costs for flights, lodging, transportation
(like taxis or rental cars), and any other travel-related expenses
VENUE FEES
If your chosen location requires a photography fee
or permit, that cost will be covered by the client.
FAQ
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD ON THE DAY OF THE PROPOSAL?
If weather conditions aren’t ideal, we’ll talk through the best option together. If rescheduling is possible, I’m always happy to do so to ensure the best experience and imagery. I also understand that proposals can be time-sensitive and not always movable. In those cases, we’ll thoughtfully pivot the plan to an indoor or covered location when available.
I am able to photograph in certain weather conditions, but this is at my discretion to ensure safety and quality. No matter the circumstances, my goal is always the same: to create a beautiful, meaningful gallery that reflects the moment exactly as it felt.

All sessions have a 2-week turnaround time, allowing for thoughtful, intentional editing of each image.
