I’m so glad you’re here.

Photography has always been a natural extension of how I see the world. I’m drawn to beautiful light, thoughtful details, and the quiet moments that can easily go unnoticed. What began as a creative outlet became something more intentional during my time at Louisiana State University, where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography in 2021. Shortly after, I founded Payton Beauvais Photography.

Today, I approach every wedding and session with a calm, thoughtful presence and a clear vision for the finished images. I offer gentle direction when needed, while leaving room for moments to unfold naturally. My goal is to create photographs that feel genuine to the people in them while still carrying the perspective and intention behind my work.

I’m drawn to celebrations and seasons of life that feel meaningful, with an appreciation for beautiful surroundings, thoughtful details, and photographs that will continue to matter long after the moment has passed.

I’m based in Covington, Louisiana, and work throughout the Northshore, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and surrounding areas. When I’m not photographing or editing, you can find me enjoying a slow morning with an iced latte, doing a little craft, or spending time with my family and friends.

My approach

I believe the best photographs come from thoughtful direction and genuine connection. I’ll guide you with clear direction and gentle prompts, while leaving room for genuine moments to unfold naturally.

I’m intentional about the details that shape your photographs, from the way I work with light to the locations, movement, and composition of each image. My goal is for your photographs to feel natural, effortless, and true to you, while still reflecting the care that goes into creating them.

Whether I’m photographing a wedding, senior portrait session, or another meaningful season, I bring the same care and attention to the way each experience is photographed.

Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
